Safe operation of dangerous technology is a responsibility, obligation and prestige. In case of presence of a certain amount of dangerous substance, operation risk levels determined by 96/82/EC SEVESO (II) directive are stated in 219/2011 (X.20.) Hungarian gov. order. Companies under the scope of this order are obliged by law to achieve prescribed risk target levels and verify compliance. Industrial safety also means considering working conditions’ effects on employees’ health, and loss of profit resulting from production downtime in case of a possible industrial accident. Plant managers and EHS, SHE, HSE experts have a great role in industrial safety. Only the carefully designed system runs without accident. Though operation risks cannot be reduced to zero, but they can be kept down at a known and acceptably low level
